First and foremost I consider myself a storyteller. But in technical terms, I am an award-winning brand marketer and creative focused on helping brands architect their unique story and bring it to life. I’ve circled the globe to understand how new media and technology has transformed the art of storytelling, and I bring that global perspective to my work everyday.
Most recently, I was the Vice President of Marketing and Brand at sweetgreen, the destination for simple, seasonal, healthy food where I oversaw the development and implementation of all communication and marketing strategies. In my role, I leveraged everything from new retail openings to technology innovation and strategic partnerships to continuously propel the brand forward.
Prior to joining sweetgreen, I served as the Senior Global Director of Digital, Social and Creative Communications at Michael Kors Worldwide where I oversaw integrated editorial, digital and social media strategy for our global markets. And before that, I lead social media, editorial content and digital marketing strategy for Jetsetter.com at Gilt Groupe where my nickname ‘Jetsetfarryn’ was born.
Before falling in love with marketing, I was an avid photographer, creative and writer and spend time at MTV Production & Development, The Colbert Report and National Geographic TV. I live in NYC with my husband Jake, in our favorite ‘hood, the West Village.
